About The Hartford Ski Club

The Hartford Ski Club (HSC) was founded in 1936 by skiing enthusiasts who wanted to foster interest in both the recreational and competitive aspects of the sport.

The Hartford Ski Club's Lodge at Mad River Glen

We have several annual social activities including Thanksgiving and Holiday socials, an annual banquet, and picnics. In addition, there are several social weekends.

The Hartford Ski Club Lodge is located in the scenic Mad River Valley at the base of Mad River Glen Ski Area in northern Vermont.

HSC management is under the direction of a Board of Directors, which is elected annually by the general membership. The HSC welcomes enthusiastic individual and family skiers to become members. Around 300 people enjoy the benefits of HSC membership.
