Welcome to the Hartford Ski Club!

News Desk
  • July 1

We’re happy to announce that Vermont is allowing residents of certain counties in CT (currently Tolland, Litchfield, and New London), MA and RI to visit without a 14-day quarantine and that we’re able to re-open the lodge for summer reservations on a limited basis. Please feel free to book according to the guidelines described in the President’s blast e-mail to members on 1 July. Among other guidelines: only one group is allowed at the lodge at a time; the maximum group size is 9 people; and the member making the reservation will need to sign a waiver attesting that each person in the group adheres to VT's restrictions on cross-state travel, which can be found here: https://accd.vermont.gov/covid-19/restart/cross-state-travel.

Before making your reservation, please read through the full HSC Summer 2020 booking guidelines, which can be found in the Members-->Files-->Misc folder in the menu at left.

Who Are We?

The Hartford Ski Club (HSC) was founded in 1936 by skiing enthusiasts who wanted to foster interest in both the recreational and competitive aspects of the sport.

The HSC was founded on two basic principles:

  • a low cost approach to skiing
  • member involvement in club activities

These characterize the Club's informal, happy, low-key but well organized approach to skiing.
